Opinion about learning experience-

While doing both the previous assignments, I had learnt several new things regarding cloud computing. For this project I had considered an Australian organization that is an accounting software package company. Utilizing the concept of cloud computing the company will be capable of assessing the online accounting; therefore the employees and the management of the company will be able to access their server from anywhere.

Value of this experience-

While learning about the notion of the cloud computing I had found few advantages and disadvantages of the cloud computing software. This method is easier to be accessed and it also reduces huge cost of the company. This software helps to collaborate and therefore t enhances the flexibility of the work practices within and outside the company. They can also capable of reviewing the operating results for the customers for a specific time therefore later they can provide suitable advice to them. However there have been some disadvantages of this software such as the privacy and the security of the client information and the company data can be at stake. The software can also be vulnerable and there are several possibilities therefore I have realized that while implementing the software in a company the company requires to make sure that there are adequate amount of security for the software so that the client information or the other data of the company can be protected. While implementing the management of the company requires ensuring the protection of the software. While researching regarding the topic I have also identified a gap in the cloud computing software of the company MYOB that the organization requires to access both the private and public based cloud for using all the resources effectively; however the company is not being able to perform that right now. 

Applying the knowledge and insight in future-

Furthermore from the experience of this research I have found out that the usage of cloud computing could be utilized in different companies for making their entire operation a lot easier, however the companies require to make sure that the application of the knowledge is sufficiently protected and it is not open to more vulnerability so that all the information is protected and the clients of any company are safe.

Details of the learning process-

For this project I have done a qualitative analysis for classifying the features of cloud computing along with the detailed description of the data gathering. The research in this field has indicated that the maintenance of the cloud computing software is not difficult or complicated yet, while installing the software the management of any company needs to ensure that there is proper evaluation of the user computers so that it can be accessed from different places. Working on the cloud computing solutions the companies can also check on the security of the client information, therefore they can increase the security standards. If the security standards are higher, it would be easier for the service provider to solve if there is any issue regarding the privacy and security of the client information. Therefore the companies require scaling their back up information along with their data security for making further business researches. For the future application of cloud computing it is necessary that the organizations measure the ability and skill of testing the research, therefore it would be easier for the company to reflect on more clientele. Making the standards of the security higher the system can improve the foundation of the information. Having set various standards the company can ensure that they reduce the IT operational cost of the work; therefore they can relocate their IT operations on the personal expenses. Adopting the third key management would help the entire system to secure the data in an effective way.

Explanation of the learning process

I have learned about research methodology in this course and programs. I have learned about research methods and techniques that help me to conduct any research in future.  I have learned that data can be collected two ways and there analysis technique also varies with the types of the data collected. I have used the quantitative data analysis as I want to collect the data directly from the research respondents in form of questionnaire. Through my course I have learned that primarily collected data is the most preferred data collection technique because it not only present the accurate scenario of the research topic but also offer a unbiased research outcome. I believe that since cloud computing is new technology and almost all the organization have taken initiatives for the adapting cloud computing, employee may feel lack of expertise or difficulty in utilizing the concept. Moreover, if they are benefited with the technology, this can also be known from this research.

Explanation of two assignments-

The first assignment is to formulate a literature review based on my research topic that is the advantage and disadvantage of the cloud computing for business in Australia. In this case, first I have learned how to write a literature review. In this context, I want to say that with the help of my mentors and other internet sources I have learned that literature review only present a narrow overview of the research topic so that all the research questions and objectives can be supported. Moreover, the research questions and their results should also be aligned with the formulated research review so that the relevance of the literature can be found.  In this case, I have learned to compare and contrast some of the viewpoints of different research scholar which on the other hand help me to find a gap. This gap analysis helps me to highlight a direction in which no or much research has been done previously. The second assignment is to formulate a research proposal on which I want to do research in my future. This course made me learn about different research approaches, philosophies, purposes, data collection methods and analysis technique that are best situated for the research.

Application of learning in future-

Lastly, I can say that this course and program will help me both in my academic career and in my workplace. The technique that I have learned for conducting a research will help me with other research works that I want to conduct in future. Moreover, in my future workplace I can utilize the knowledge of cloud computing to perform my job roles and responsibility.
