The threat emanating from the pollution of the groundwater, the air pollution is immense, and it poses a major threat to the maintenance of the heritage sites. The solution to these problems lies in the spending of the government regarding the safeguard and the maintenance of the heritage sites. The government must spend some amount of money and set up specialized bodies to take care of the heritage sites and maintain them thoroughly (Throsby, 2016). The heritage sites need immediate relief and assistance and they must be thoroughly looked after by these services and government bodies (Quattrone, 2015). The setting up of the government bodies can do a world of good for the proper maintenance and the conservation of the heritage sites and will speed up the process of securing the heritage sites for the future generations to witness and experience. These are some of the solutions which can prove beneficial in the long run for the proper maintenance and conservation of the heritage sites (Mosedale & Scarles, 2014).

The waste resources can be recycled and reused properly by the stakeholders involved in the tourism business (Du Cros & McKercher, 2014). The local people who are employed in the business of tourism can be trained about the importance of sustainable development and the importance to sustainable development can mean a lot of positive things and values for the maintenance and valuation of the tourist places. The stakeholders and the people involved in the trade of tourism can also implement policies and practices which emphasizes on the aspect of Corporate Social Responsibility and seek to protect and conserve the natural resources so that the ecological balance is maintained, and the environmental protection is done by the stakeholders and the management bodies. These practices and policies will enable the stakeholders and the management leader to increase the revenue and the sale of profit in the business of tourism and develop the tourism industry (Smith, 2015). There is immense scope regarding the efficiency and effectiveness of the tourism industry if it is maintained properly.
