Their mission is to deliver and provide physical, emotional, and spiritual services which are based on their Jewish beliefs. The organization delivers high-quality services through the provision of health care, food and other related services based on the individual’s requirements. As a result, the management has developed a good relationship with residents and families due to a high standard of fairness, kindness, and ethics practiced on elders. This relationship has attracted a large number of elders in the organization since it was established. Despite being a Jewish nursing home, the organization takes care of all people regardless of their belief. The organization is based on personalized care through the provision of both rehabilitation and health services. The main role of the organization is to provide therapy services, respite care, rehab and pain management among the elderly. These services help the elderly to improve their standard of living by overcoming various chronic problems they encounter. These services are long-term or short-term based on an individual’s problem. To enhance these services, the organization is equipped with skilled professionals who have the knowledge in various fields which, are mostly encountered by the elderly. The rationale of this essay is to carry out a SWOT analysis of the organization and various leadership practices carried through exercise by its management.

It is a major guideline within an organization which enhances its success. Leadership practice helps the problem of analysis and ways on how to develop a solution through the application of existing opportunities. A good leadership practice guides on how to control and manage the existing resources. The organization has adapted various leadership practices. First, an understanding process which entails the identification of major factors which will ensure its success. As such, its leaders develop techniques which analyze various behaviors and skills among aged to enhance service provision. This understanding helps the organization to evaluate the existing environment and how they can improve those problems. Secondly, a strategic development which helps shapes the operations of the organization. These strategies practice the objectives of the organization to ensure effective allocation of resources within the affected people. Additionally, strategic practice ensures that the organization develops and effective coordination between seniors officials, subordinates, and workers. This has assisted the organization to make personal learning relevant and applicable. Finally, a democratic system where leaders can integrate others in deciding on the organization. This integration is critical in the development of objectives. Democratic system has been the core principle which guides in the success of the organization (Cruz, 2018). Individuals are given a chance to make their own choice depending on the opportunity and ability.

The current leadership practices that are being followed at the Fall River Jewish Home are often varying from each other. This is because there are different leaders and all of them are of a different kind of mindset (Board of Directors at Fall River Jewish; Howard Freedman, Pres. 2018). Authoritarian leadership or the autocratic leadership is followed where the leader takes the decision and then circulates the same among the subordinates.The subordinates will have to accept and abide by the decisions that are taken by the leader (Chemers, 2014). This is often required in a rehab center as there can be many officials who are not taking care of the patients properly or are neglecting their duties. So, in such cases, this leadership might be very useful. However often it can have negative impacts on the minds of the employees. They may feel that they are not important and they do not have a voice of their own. They may also not work properly as they feel that they are being dominated.

They follow the cross-cultural leadership as well. They do not provide care and assistance only to the patients that are Jews. They provide their help to all the residents of the Nursing home. Communication keeps the management informed on how various duties are carried out and ways on how to improve their performance. Additionally, it raises the morale of employees due to continuous feedback from senior officials. Communication assists the management to understand various problems which are mostly likes encountered by the elderly.
