The aim of this report is to evaluate the existing system of the TOSIG (Tier One Suppliers Insurance Company) and propose the cloud computing as the appropriate approach for the management of the new customers. The identified problem was that the agents were not able to retrieve data while communicating with new customers outside the office premises and that led to the less influence on the customers to be associate with the organization. Cloud computing will allow the agents to be connected with the data and information 24*7 hours and thus, improve the figures of the new customers associating with the organization.

1.2 Objectives

  • To establish a cloud computing network for the agents of the TOSIG
  • To migrate the data over the cloud
  • To increase the number of new customers
  • To analyze the feasibility of the cloud computing as the solution for the identified problem
  • To automate the manual system and eliminate the human errors

1.3 Budget Estimate and Assumptions

            The feasibility study can be done with a budget of $ 10,000 however; the entire project can be delivered with a budget of $ 50,000 as expressed in this report.

The agents are facing trouble in presenting the overall information in front of the customers that is not helping in engaging them with the organization and take insurance from the company. The agents are not able to access the data and information on the field and hence, not able to attract customers so, cloud implementation within the existing system will be helpful in eliminating this issue and providing the agents with a facility to access the data and information on the fields. This transformation will not need the data migration over the cloud rather the organization will also need to utilize on-demand software services and providing the agents with the mobile devices those are compatible with the new applications.

3.1 Tools and Techniques

            SAP ERP, Microsoft AZURE, IT infrastructure, High bandwidth internet connection, latest mobile devices with better configuration, and wireless connectivity are the tools those are necessary for the successful deployment of this project.
